Football: Mountaineer Field at Puskar Stadium
Traffic is completely directed by WV State Police. Whether you're a local or a visitor, coming in from I-79 or I-68, make sure to follow the flow of traffic. Attempts to take backroads to bypass traffic usually result in endless waits, as some roads are essentially closed to create reversed traffic patterns. It may take a few moments to get moving, but once you do, filtering is usually pretty quick.

Gettting to Mountaineer Field:
From I-79:
Take exit 155. Proceed to Monongahela Blvd, and turn right (at the Sheetz). Go over the Star City Bridge, and make a left at your second light (onto Patteson Drive). See Parking Maps to aid you from here. Once on Patteson Drive, the stadium is about a mile or so on your right (behind the entrance to WVU Hospital).

From I-68:
Take exit 7. If going I-68 East, turn left off ramp. Otherwise, turn right off ramp. At the second light, turn left and proceed up Easton Hill. At the light at the top of the hill, you will now be on the "Mileground". At the next light (just past the WV Armory), turn right onto 705. Proceed a few miles to your 2nd light. Once there, you are in walking distance to the stadium, and should be able to see it behind the buildings on your left.

Gettting to the Coliseum:
From I-79:
Take exit 155. Proceed to Monongahela Blvd, and turn right (at the Sheetz). Go over the Star City Bridge, and the Coliseum will be on the right at your 2nd light. See Parking Maps to aid you from here.

From I-68:
Yes, you could take exit 7 and travel through town. Our advice is to continue 7 more miles on I-68 to I-79 North. Once on I-79 North, exit 155 is about 7 miles. Use the above directions for From I-79. This may require a few extra highway miles, but it is absolutely the most convenient and stress-free for out-of-town visitors.
