Chat Transcript with Vaughn Rivers Date: July 11th, 2006
| [Jim]: |
Vaughn Rivers... funniest thing to happen on a road trip? |
| [Vaughn]: |
Ah man, that's a good question. Last year, Boo McLee got left behind because he was still in the bathroom. |
| |
| [Jim]: |
If you were to dress up for Halloween this year, what would you go as? |
| [Vaughn]: |
Ah, I have no idea. I'd probably say Deuce Bigalow. (laughter) |
| [Jim]: |
I won't even ask why! |
| |
| [Jim]: |
Besides Coach Rod, the one coach you don't want to upset? |
| [Vaughn]: |
Coach Trickett. |
| |
| [Jim]: |
Why's that? |
| [Vaughn]: |
You just don't want to [set] him off. He's just not the one you want to [set] off. |
| |
| [Jim]: |
Where do you want to be when you're 35? |
| [Vaughn]: |
I want to be coaching kids... coaching football or doing something... some type of mentoring with the youth. |
| |
| [Jim]: |
All the time you've been on the field, what's the one play you'll never forget? |
| [Vaughn]: |
The best play, I'd say, is probably... I'm gonna say, right now, last year in the South Florida game when Pat White ran that 70 yard touchdown. |
| |
| [Jim]: |
How'd you end up at WVU? |
| [Vaughn]: |
Coach Gibson and Coach Rod. Just comfortable with the program, the school, and the vicinity... how close it was to home. Just felt real comfortable with it. |
